Can I create a small, intimate setting at your venue?

Yes - There are several ways to create an intimate setting at the mansion.  We can set up in the garden, or the grand staircase, as well as the porch.

Can I have an outdoor wedding ceremony?

Yes - We can help to create a beautiful outside ceremony using the Gazebo or even perhaps the back garden area under the large tree. 

Can I have an indoor wedding ceremony?

Yes - We can accommodate a smaller sized intimate ceremony focused around our staircase.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes - As this is an historical landmark built before ADA requirements were established, we have created an entrance with a ramp on the backside of the mansion. Please note this is to access the first floor only. The second floor is only accessible by stairs.

Are you more than just a wedding venue?

Yes! - Our venue is available to host several different events.

Do you have a vendor list?

Yes - We work with many different companies that would like to offer you service.

Do you offer items to rent?

Do you offer a full kitchen?

No - The Catering Kitchen is furnished with stainless steel counter tops with shelves. We provide a microwave, coffee maker, sink, and a refrigerator. There is no ice maker or freezer so please ensure you bring your own ice if required.  

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes - For events serving alcohol, a licensed, insured bartender must be present.  Cash bars are not allowed.  All bartending companies must be pre-approved by the Event Manager and are required to provide a copy of their license and insurance no later than two (2) weeks prior to the event date.  The bartending company and Licensee assume all responsibility for the conduct and consumption of guests.

What is the maximum occupancy?

Depending on the nature of the event:
As the Burnett Mansion is meticulously furnished, it is our recommendation that events keep their total guest count to under 100.
 

Do you have a parking area?

Yes - We have a small parking area. There is also street parking around the Burnett Mansion.

Do you have outdoor lighting?

Yes - There are light posts along the North Side of the mansion facing the gazebo and garden area plus there are lights on the wrap-around porch. Additional lighting on the gazebo is available for an additional cost.

Do you have a sound system?

No - The Burnett Mansion does not have a sound system, but there are local DJ companies. There are also electrical outlets along the fence of the garden area.

Who is responsible for cleanup after the event?

Any decorations, food and trash should be cleaned up by the event party. All tables, chairs and other items belonging to the Burnett Mansion will be taken care of by the venue.

Do you have electrical hook ups or a generator for outdoor events?

There are electrical outlets outside. We do not have a generator. 

Do you have an all-inclusive option?

We may offer all-inclusive options for office parties or other events throughout the year.

We do not offer all-inclusive wedding options.

May I use the mansion for photography?

You may rent out the mansion for photoshoots. If you have booked a wedding at the mansion, a photoshoot for engagement or wedding photos prior to your wedding date is included. 

Is the rehearsal included in the cost of a wedding?

Yes - You will have access to the mansion for a one hour wedding rehearsal. If you would like to have a rehearsal dinner, you may reserve more time at an additional cost.
