Can I create a small, intimate setting at your venue?

Yes - There are many spots at the mansion for intimate settings.  These include some outside as well as inside.  They can range from a garden to a staircase landing.  You will find something that makes you happy.

Can I have an outdoor wedding ceremony?

Yes - There are several options using our gardens and porches.  We can help you find the spot for your celebration.

Can I have an indoor wedding ceremony?

Yes - We have many options to select from.  It can be focused around our staircase or using one of our larger rooms. 

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes - While we are an older home, we have created options for wheelchair accessibility.  It is limited to the outside and the first floor of the house.  We don’t have an option for the second floor.

Are you more than just a wedding venue?

Absolutely - Our venue is available to help make your events memorable. You can host many different events during the day or night.

Do you have a vendor list?

Yes - We work with many different companies that would like to offer you service.  We don’t make specific recommendations, but some of these are available on our Vendor List.

Do you offer items to rent?

Yes - We do offer additional items to rent to support your event.  Please find our available items on our Rental Items List. Click here for our Rental Items

Do you offer a full kitchen?

No - The Catering Kitchen is furnished with several tables and racks.  There is no cold/frozen storage or cooking appliances on-site. 

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes - For events serving alcohol, a licensed, insured bartender must be present.  Cash bars are not allowed.  All bartending companies must be pre-approved by The Kante Group and are required to provide a copy of their license and insurance two (2) weeks prior to the event date.  The bartending company and Licensee assume all responsibility for the conduct and consumption of guests.

What is the maximum occupancy?

An indoor only event can accommodate up to 60. An indoor/outdoor event can accommodate up to 100.

Do you have a parking area?

Yes - We have a small parking area. There is also street parking around the Burnett Mansion.

Do you have outdoor lighting?

Yes - There is lighting around the gazebo and porch.

Do you have a sound system?

No - The Burnett Mansion does not have a sound system, but there are local DJ companies. There are also electrical outlets outside of the house.

Who is responsible for cleanup after the event?

Any decorations, food and trash should be cleaned up by the event party. All tables, chairs and other items belonging to the Burnett Mansion will be taken care of by the venue.

Do you have electrical hook ups or a generator for outdoor events?

There are electrical outlets outside. We do not have a generator. 

Do you have an all-inclusive option?

We may offer all-inclusive options for office parties or other events throughout the year.

We do not offer all-inclusive wedding options.

May I use the mansion for photography?

You may rent out the mansion for photoshoots. If you have booked a wedding at the mansion, a photoshoot for engagement or wedding photos prior to your wedding date is included. 

Is the rehearsal including in the cost of a wedding?

Yes - You will have access to the mansion for a one hour wedding rehearsal. If you would like to have a rehearsal dinner, you may reserve more time at an additional cost.
